I am dealing with Effects of, ‘Time and Space’ which I often observe and feel through various aspects of life. Shifted from figuration to conceptual and None- Objective representation of concept, which are based on socio political and environmental issues, history and archaeological facts and ecology. I evolve Natural environment ravaged by time and human forces.
I am interested in transformation of meaning of materials with context. Materiality and sustainability are prime factors in my work process to create concepts which can bring new edge aesthetic experience in art.
There is a layered approach literally and figuratively in my body of work which comes with spontaneous act while creating. My mind, body and I, explore unique sense of balance comes through my spiritual discourses.

Studied visual art from famous -Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S. University, Baroda- INDIA In 1997.Kumar Chauhan is known for his versatile practice in Visual Art since past 30 years, He has held several solo shows and participated in many groups shows word wide since 1990.
He is a recipient of many awards for art including Lalitkala Academy Awards in 1994 and in 1998.He has been given fellowships by Lalit Kala academy for his art and scholarship from reputed Kanoria centre for Arts in year 1998 and 1999.
He has explored with multi mediums and concepts in his art. His major Art project was ‘Incline Reality’- an Installation Art project based on human condition and on spread terrorism and violence in so-called developed world which was telecasted with artist’s Interview on Durdarsan TV – by Durdarsan Kendra. In year 2020 – he has released his online Art exhibition – ‘Asto ma Sad Gamay’ – on Mahatma Gandhi worldwide. He also been Invited for numerous artist camps, workshops, Art Talk and Art and design seminars as an expert. He was jury member for various Art and Design and cultural events and Contests at various level.
As a Visual Artist & Designer he has Contributed in various professional Art & Design Projects including Cultural Project ‘Akshardham’ at Gandhinagar where he has contributed for Communication design and in permeant Exhibition design based on Indian culture.
Along with his Art Practice, Kumar Chauhan is Contributing since long as an Art & Design Educator and mentor, at Institute like NID - National Institute of Design- Ahmedabad and many others and shaping new generation. He is an honourable Member of Board of advisory – for reputed Universities for Institute of Design and for Institute of Fine Arts.
His Collection of work can be found in many Governments and in privets Collection worldwide.
