Instinctively Many: A Cultivated Salon – India Art Fair EDI+IONS Parallel

Cultivate Art presents the inaugural edition of Instinctively Many: A Cultivated Salon, bringing together 22 artists from across India within the courtyards of the Kanoria Centre for Arts (KCA), Ahmedabad.

Instinct arrives before language does: the hand choosing a mark, a colour, a form before thought has caught up enough to explain it. What’s rare now isn’t instinct itself, but anything reaching us before it’s already been interpreted for us.

Instinctively Many takes its name from that narrowing gap: a small, deliberate return to the moment before interpretation arrives first. It unfolds through multiplicity, a plural, unruly artistic spirit that fits neither the minimal white cube nor the internet’s flattened notion of contemporary.
