This September, our artists open their doors as part of India Art Fair EDI+IONS: PARALLEL, offering a glimpse into the spaces where ideas, materials and processes take shape.
Meet the artists, discover works in progress, and experience the energy of the studios firsthand. Join us over three days, with live artist demonstrations on Saturday and Sunday.

In this informal demonstration, KCA’s Studio Artist, Surabhi Kochar will explore how ideas that begin as drawings can evolve into three-dimensional ceramic forms. Working directly with clay, she will demonstrate the process of developing, transferring and carving a drawn design onto a ceramic surface, while discussing how the material influences and transforms the original idea. Using examples from her own practice, she will share some of the decisions, adjustments and discoveries that occur between drawing and making. The session offers visitors an opportunity to see the process behind the work and engage with the possibilities of drawing as a starting point for ceramics.
